Ultrasonic Non-Contact Level Sensor for Fluids, Pastes, Bulk Materials
The Prosonic FMU40 ultrasonic sensor is suitable for non-contact level measurement in fluids, pastes, coarse bulk material and flow measurement in open channels or weirs. This compact transmitter can be used in applications with storage tanks, agitators, on stockpiles and conveyor belts. The envelope curve can be shown on the on-site display for simple diagnosis. Linearisation function (up to 32 points) for conversion of the measured value into any unit of length, volume or flow rate.
This ultrasonic sensor provides reliable non-contact measurement with quick and simple commissioning via a menu-guided with 4-line plain text display, and 7 languages are selectable. Hermetically sealed and potted sensor and a chemically resistant sensor. Easy to calibrate without filling or discharging and the integrated temperature sensor allows for automatic correction of the temperature dependent sound velocity.
